I. Love. Extreme. Weather.
Pretty soon when I update the Nature Albums on this site completely, you'll be able to see what I mean. That being said, the purpose of this post isn't to advertise my love of weather- but rather pay an ode to the power it contains.
Hurricanes, earthquakes, wildfires, volcano eruptions. All of these have occurred, in abundance, over the last few weeks/months around our globe. The destruction we see on television is just a small visual representation of the actual pain and suffering I can only imagine residents are experiencing.
Meanwhile, here in Canada, we've got temperatures in the 30's and my mom is going to the beach tomorrow. Should we consider ourselves lucky? Sure. Should we proceed with caution? Definitely.
Count your blessings, but global warming is here and everyone should be mindful of it.
